Torres releases new CD

Tony Torres & Real Gone will be performing their sendoff blowout bash at Brucekies Pub, 401 S. 2nd St., Columbia, on Saturday, March 19, from 1 to 4 p.m..

The Lititz bluesman will be releasing his new CD, “A Real Gone Time,” on March 26 at a release party at Red’s Blues Lounge in Clarksdale, Miss. Red’s is the last real juke joint, anywhere and was the noted home of Big Jack Johnson, and a stop for all the great blues acts of yore and today.

Torres is a world-class blues guitarist and entertainer, after decades of being a side man, he is front and center, bringing his unique blend of Latin/Americana, Roots, Rockabilly and Surf to his audiences.

His debut, full-length album showcases both his performance abilities and songwriting skills. It features 13 original songs, and three custom-tailored cover tunes.

Tony will be coming back from Clarksdale to celebrate the CD’s release locally at Tellus360 in Lancaster on Friday, April 8.
