050417-tasteEven if you don’t know Spanish, you should know that Cinco de Mayo is a day of celebration that calls for tacos, tequila, quesadillas and more at The Hill.

On Friday, Cinco de Mayo- that’s May 5 by the way- the fun will be flowing at The Hill with great food with a Mexican accent, like pork tacos with Spanish rice and guacamole, chicken quesadillas, Spanish rice bowl, Santa Fe skillet mac & cheese and taco chopped salad.

There’s no better way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo than with a delicious Margarita made with tequila. Choose a classic Margarita in refreshing lime, or something sweeter like strawberry or other tropical flavors. The Hill is famous for its premium tequilas, and drinks made from tequila. As owner Jon Speros points out, fine tequilas are much like fine scotch, made for sippin’ and savoring. Some are smooth, others might be aged in oak barrels for richness. At The Hill, the wide selection of super premium tequilas introduces you to the best tequilas.

Now that the deck is open, you’ll want to hang out with friends beneath the stars (or sunshine) on these warm spring into summer nights and days. Al fresco dining is always so much more fun. Enjoy an icy cold beer, a summery cocktail, glass of wine or fine spirits like whiskey or bourbon. Be sure to check out the new menu, which has tons of great appetizers, burgers, salads, sandwiches and entrees.

You won’t want to miss the new macaroni and cheese skillets that take mac & cheese to a whole new level. These skillet macaroni and cheese entrees are baked in a cast iron skillet so that they are all melted and topped with amazing things like homemade chili, Monterey Jack cheese, cheddar cheese, fresh onion and sour cream.

There’s the All-American with mini grilled Angus burgers, bacon and gravy. The Santa Fe is a wonderful fiesta with blackened chicken, black bean corn salsa, jalapeños and salsa ranch. Try the Memphis with pulled pork, slaw and barbecue sauce. Then there are options like Buffalo chicken with chicken tenders and bleu cheese, Italiano with pepperoni and marinara, and Down by the Sea with crab, shrimp, mozzarella and tomatoes.

The Hill’s menu is packed with tasty options like the On the Farm chicken salad with cranberries, goat cheese and roasted nuts, the Open Faced Roast Beef with prime rib and gravy fries and the Cod Po’ Boy hoagie with cole slaw, tomatoes and Swiss.

Classic Hill favorites include Mr. Tran’s Famous Vietnamese Spring Rolls, the Mush burger smothered with mushrooms and cheese, the crab cake sandwich, the Thai Noodle Bowl and homemade deep-dish Chicago-style pizzas.

The Hill has Monday Trivia and Tuesday karaoke, plus the newly expanded 12-spout tap system offers four more beer choices, including a rotating cider tap and a rotating craft beer tap.

The Hill is open Monday through Saturday 11 a.m.- 2:30 a.m. They are closed on Sunday, allowing for special events to be scheduled at The Hill on Sundays, so call today to plan your get-together. To find out more about The Hill, call 733-6331 or check the website at www.htopinn.com.
