The Warwick High School boys lacrosse team was well-represented on Blue Mountain U19 team at the Keystone Games on Saturday and Sunday, July 26-27. The roster included Warwick rising seniors Alex Dagen, Shane Galway, Cameron Epple, Nate Owsinski, and Brogan Galbreath.

The Keystone Games are held each year at this time and showcase high school boys lacrosse that represent various regions in Pennsylvania. There is only one team for each region and each team consists of about 22 players. Each team competes during the weekend with the goal of winning the gold, silver, or bronze medals of the tournament.

The Blue Mountain U19 team played seven games and finished with a very respectable record of 5-2 while bringing home the silver medal. The silver medal game was a rematch of their only other tournament loss against a very strong Bucks County team. Blue Mountain held strong to play their best game of the tournament against the competition, however came up just a bit short in the end.

All of the Warwick players were very instrumental in the team’s success not only at the Keystones, but throughout Blue Mountain’s other tournaments this summer.

Local fans will be looking forward to seeing them in the upcoming 2015 spring season and beyond.
