Cameron completes big sophomore year at UGA

Warwick grad Emily Cameron, recently completed a very successful sophomore year with the University of Georgia women’s swimming team. In addition to being honored for Outstanding Academic Achievement, the seven-time PIAA gold-medalist finished as an Honorable Mention All-Ameican in both the 200 IM and 400 IM at the NCAA Division-One Swim Championships in March.

Recently Cameron has been selected to compete with three other Georgia swimmers and other high profile athletes from the United States, Japan, Canada, Germany, France and Australia in Europe.

The series of two-day swim meets &tstr; termed the Mare Nostrum &tstr; will begin in Barcelona, Spain this weekend, followed by a similar meet in Canet, France and the final two days in Monaco (June 13-14).

Cameron will compete in the 50 breaststroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 I.M. and 400 I.M. in the three meets.
