Kreiters married 60 years

David and Doris (Tennis) Kreiter, Lititz, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married March 12, 1955 in Elkton, Md.

David retired as parts manager from Zartman Dodge (now Keller Brothers) after 35 years of service.Doris retired from Warwick School District, as school cafeteria manager after 31 years of service.

They enjoy traveling, are involved in card club, deliver Meals on Wheels, and are active at church functions, and square dancing. They are active members of the Friendship Class at Lititz Church of the Brethren. They are members of the Susquehanna Valley Square and Round Dancers Association.

The Kreiters are the founders of the Swing-Thru Square Dance Club in Lititz and still teach square dancing. Dave calls square dancing in the local area.

David and Doris are the parents of four children: Ed, husband of Barbara; Debra Sheaffer, husband of Rodney; John, husband of Lois; and Joel, husband of Dawn. They have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, with two more on the way.

David and Doris celebrated their 60th anniversary with family at a surprise family dinner and slide show at Enck’s Catering Banquet and Conference Center, Manheim, on March 7.
