A golden Christmas Eve

Norman and Linda Faus, of Lititz, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Christmas Eve. They were married Dec. 24, 1967 in Ephrata with Pastor Edgar D. Wert officiating.

They are the proud parents of Cherie, wife of Craig Smith, Grantville; and Lee, husband of Kim, Mooresville, N.C. Their three grandchildren, Justin, Hannah, and Kayleigh, are their world.

Norm was in the Navy and worked in real estate for over 30 years, wearing many hats from project manager to developer. The life of a child of a real estate agent meant attending open houses on the weekends. Although this can sound boring, seeing your dad working his sales magic, making sure the customer was happy with the buying journey, led to his children being empowered with their current successes in life as they support their customers. Norm is now retired enjoying the good life of eating bon-bons and watching soap operas. Just kidding dad! He is finishing his 30-year backlog of honey-dos.

Linda worked in the family business, running accounts receivable/accounts payable. This made her great at managing the family finances while staying home with her children when they were young. Eventually the monotony of watching TV and making PB and J for lunch everyday sent her back to work for a group of anesthesiologists at St. Joseph Hospital in Lancaster. When the doctors disbanded, Linda decided it was time to take a break. Never one to sit around too long, she returned to the workforce supporting Meier and Moser Associates, P.C. in their optometry practice.

Their hard work didn’t leave a lot of time for play, but when they did, they played hard with their good friends. Norm and Linda are loved by many.

They are planning on celebrating their life together by taking a cruise to the Caribbean Islands to fan their fire of devotion for one another.

Their children and grandchildren want them to know how much they are appreciated. We all love you both very much!
