A sweet day for chocolate lovers at UZRC

United Zion Retirement Community will once again be hosting their Semi-Chocolate Stroll, a mini version of the Lititz Chocolate Walk, on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. throughout the halls of UZRC.

The event is open to the public and a suggested donation of $5 will be requested at the main entrance to enjoy the treats on the tour. All proceeds raised from this event will go to the UZRC Caring Fund.

Many chocolate confections will be offered on the tour with over 14 stops already slated and more to come. Local area businesses including Evans Candy, Wilbur Chocolate, Lorah’s Handmade Chocolates, Achenbach Pastries and Nancy’s Confections will be joining forces with UZRC Dietary Department, offering chocolate specialties along the tour route.
