Two students cited for disorderly conduct

Lititz Borough Police Department reported the following:

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – Police responded to the Warwick Middle School at 12:41 p.m. Jan. 24 for an incident involving two 14-year-old female students in the cafeteria. Police were informed that the two girls poured a drink and slushy over the head of another student after they confronted her. Both students were summoned into District Court after being cited for disorderly conduct.

PFA VIOLATION – Police responded to an address in the 100 block of South Broad Street at 4:05 p.m. Jan. 11 after someone reported that she recieved numerous text messages from Kevin Barlett, 44, Cleona. The complainant has a protection from abuse order against Barlett prohibiting him from having any contact with her. Barlett was charged with violating the order.

THEFT – A person reported that his daughter’s bicycle was stolen at 12:15 p.m. Jan. 25 while outside a business on East Main Street. The bike is described as a brown-colored Fugi girl’s bike.

HIT-AND-RUN – A resident reported to police that his vehicle was struck at 1:48 p.m. Jan. 27 while legally parked in the 200 block of North Board Street.

ACCIDENT – Police responded to the 100 block of South Oak Street at 5:54 p.m. Jan. 29 for an injured person that was struck by a vehicle. Rhonda Gast, 42, of Lititz was driving south on South Oak Street when a pedestrian, Jennifer Thompson, 39, of Lititz, walked into the road from two parked vehicles and was struck by Gast’s passenger side mirror of her car. Thompson was treated and released by ambulance at the scene.
