Officer assaulted during drug bust

The Manheim Borough Police Department reported the following:

ASSAULT – Jordan Wingle, 22, South Main Street, was charged with aggravated assault, drug possession, paraphernalia and disorderly conduct after police responded to a drug violation in progress at 11:21 p.m. at 166 South Main St. Wingle was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and assaulted the responding officer. Joshua Greiner, 22, South Linden Street, was charged with disorderly conduct.

BAD CHECKS – Skyler J. Daugherty, 20, East Main Street, Lititz, was charged with theft by deception and writing bad checks after he intentionally convinced the victim to cash several checks for him knowing there were no funds in the account at the time at 89 Lehman Road in Rapho Township at 11:53 a.m. March 5.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – Steven L. Dosch, 53, Ridgewood Manor, Manheim, was cited for public drunkenness when he came in to the victim’s place of business screaming and yelling and was found to be under the influence of alcohol at 925 East Main Street, Rapho Township, at 3:26 p.m. March 27.

DUI – Wayne D. Myers, 57, Shumaker Road, Manheim, was charged with DUI after he hit a utility pole and was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance at 2034 Shumaker Road, Rapho Township, at 10:17 p.m. March 12.

LICENSE SUSPENDED – Brady M. Claussen, 30, Quaking Aspen Lane, Marietta, was charged with legally operating a vehicle without ignition interlock and unlawful activities and driving with a license suspended or revoked for DUI after he was pulled over for a malfunctioning reverse lights and it was found that his vehicle did not have the required ignition interlock at 7:08 p.m. March 7 at 2641 Mount Joy Road in Rapho Township.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – Robert Mahler II, 24, of North Main Street, was charged with disorderly conduct after a verbal disturbance involving Mahler and another individual at 10:09 p.m. on North Main Street.

VANDALISM – Skyler Erb, 20, South Main Street, was charged with criminal trespass and vandalism after police were dispatched for theft at 7:54 p.m. March 20. After an investigation, Erb was found to be trespassing and after being arrested, vandalized the patrol cruiser.

FALSE REPORTS – Jennifer Gingrich, 30, South Main Street, filed a theft of prescription report and, after a police investigation, it was determined that she sold the medication at 7:54 p.m. March 20 at 35 South Main St. She was later charged with false reports to law enforcement.

HARASSMENT – Allison Cupernall, 28, and Christine Stein, 52, South Charlotte Street, were charged with harassment after police responded to a disturbance at 12:38 p.m at 59 South Charlotte St.

ASSAULT – Riannon Lee Enck-Polaski, 21, West Colebrook St., was charged with simple assault after police responded to a domestic at 12:45 a.m. March 31 at 114 West Colebrook St.

ASSAULT – Mark Wagner, 21, West Colebrook Street, was charged with simple assault after police responded to a domestic at 12:45 a.m. March 31 at 114 West Colebrook St. Wagner struck the victim several times causing visible injuries.
