Wilbur M. ‘Bill’ Focht, 75, worked at Keens Services, enjoyed motorcycling, country gospel music

Wilbur M. “Bill” Focht, 75, of Annville, formerly of Hollidaysburg and resident of Lititz for 28 years, passed away Sunday, April, 17, 2016, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia Greiner Focht. They celebrated 55 years of marriage on Oct. 15, 2015. Born in Roaring Spring, he was the son of the late George M. and Thelma Gates Focht.

He retired from Kemps Foods in 2002 after eight years of service. Prior to this, he had worked at Lafferty Trucking of Altoona, and then for 10 years for Utility Keystone Trailers in Lancaster. After retirement, Bill worked part-time at Keens Services in Lititz.

Bill enjoyed traveling across the country with Marcia on their motorcycle. He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association Pennsylvania Chapter B. He also enjoyed football and listening to country gospel music. Bill was a loving husband and father, and loved spending time with his friends and family. He was a member of Frankstown Park Missionary Church in Hollidaysburg.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his beloved daughter: Debbie, married to Andy Ganteaume, of Lititz; and his loving grandson: Brennan. Bill is also survived by his three brothers: Robert of Elizabethtown; and Walter and George, both of Hollidaysburg; and three sisters: Bonnie Moyer of Hollidaysburg; and Connie Hartman and Peggy Stiffler, both of Duncansville.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 20, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz. The family will receive friends again on Thursday, April 21, from 2 to 3 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. Interment will be in the Brunnerville United Methodist Cemetery.
