Warren J. Mease, 96, WWII vet, worked at Sensenich Propeller, Knight and Day Diner regular

Warren J. Mease, 96, of Lititz, passed away at Moravian Manor on Monday, July 18, 2016.

Warren was born in Manheim Township to the late William Mease and and Catherine (Pfautz) Mease. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary (Strickler) Mease.

Warren proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1944-1946. After being honorably discharged, Warren worked Sensenich Propeller in quality control having one of his propellers displayed in the San Francisco airport. He was also a regular patron of the Knight and Day Diner. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.

Surviving Warren are his daughter: Bonnie, wife of Thomas; grandchildren: Thomas II, husband of Tori; and Lindsey, wife of Dan Cuneo; and five great-grandchildren, with one on the way. Uncle Warren was loved fondly by numerous nieces and nephews.

Warren was preceded in death by his siblings: Elmer Mease, Vera Stehman, and Edna Charles.

A funeral service will take place at Salem Lutheran Church, 26 Owl Hill Road, Lititz, on Monday, July 25, at 11:30 a.m., with Rev. Alison Bowlan officiating. A visitation will be held Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment with military honors will take place at Salem Lutheran Cemetery following the service.
