Thomas Troy Garrett, 47, father of two, WHS class of ‘85, enjoyed beach trips and skiing

By on April 16, 2014

Bigger, Faster, Stronger…words my son lived by. “Tommy Troy,” 47, left our world April 9, 2014 surrounded by those he loved and those who loved him.

Tom was the loving father of Makella and Madeline Garrett of Landisville. His greatest accomplishment was raising his girls, spending endless hours making memories with them and participating in their many extra-curricular activities. His passion for the water included boating, scuba diving, and spending time at the beach. He also loved to hit the slopes during the winter.

Tom worked at the Village Night Club for 15 years. He was a 1985 graduate of Warwick High School. Tom spent numerous volunteer hours with the Penn Legacy Soccer Club.

Tom was always ready with his “his little bag of tricks” to help anyone who needed him to tackle a project. He loved projects. He will be lovingly treasured and missed by many friends and family members.

Per Tom’s wishes, friends and family gathered to celebrate his life on April 13 at the home of Michel and Mark Weaver. To honor Tom, please participate in a random act of kindness.

I thought of you with love today

But that is nothing new

I thought about you yesterday

And days before that too.

I think of you in silence

I often speak your name

All I have are memories

And your picture in a frame.

Your memory is my keepsake

with which I’ll never part

God has you in His keeping

I have you in my heart.
