Terry W. Barto, 66, worked at Sheetz, enjoyed amusement parks, gardening

Terry W. Barto, 66, of Lititz, passed away at home Friday, May 6, 2016.

Terry was born in Lebanon on March 5, 1950 to the late Eugene Hafer and Annie (Whitman) Hafer of Lebanon. Terry is also survived by his loving wife, Donna (Dietrick) Barto.

Terry was employed by Sheetz No. 237 in Lititz. He was of the Methodist faith. He enjoyed working in the garden and going to carnivals and amusement parks.

He is survived by four children: April, wife of Derek Eppley, of Annville; Chris of Lebanon; Tammi Kennedy of Akron; Scott Wettig, fiancé of Becky Guare, of whom both shared in Terry’s care these last few weeks; siblings: Tracy, wife of Tim Spangler, of Rexmont; Deb, wife of Richard Bashore, of Bethel; David, husband of Marylyn, of Myerstown; Ernie, husband of Deb, of Myerstown; Rick, husband of Josie, of Sevierville, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by “his little guy,” his dog, Duke.

He will be greatly missed by his wife and Duke and all his family and friends. A special thanks to hospice, Monica Harris, and Scott and Becky.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 14, from 3 to 5 p.m., at his home, 680 Hopeland Road, Lititz. Family and friends are welcome.
