Stephania Dziunka, 91, Manheim, long-time seamstress at Samco, survived by five daughters

Stephania Dziunka, 91, of Manheim, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Feb. 22, 2019.

Born in Janow, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Andre Czaban and Katherin (Czaroala) Czaban, and the wife of the late Wasyl Dziunka.

Stephania worked at Samco 30 years as a seamstress.

Surviving are Stephania’s five daughters: Stephania Higgins; Daria Allison; Mary Abel, wife of Edward; Luba Simpson; and Irene Epler. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years: Wasyl; and her daughter: Olga Dziunka.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 1, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 558 W. Walnut St., Lancaster, with Reverend Michael Messner as Celebrant. Guests will be received at the church between 10 and 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
