Sadie Kauffman Dupler, 93, Masonic Village housekeeper, enjoyed gardening, time with her family

Sadie Kauffman Dupler, 93, of Pleasant View Retirement Community, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015.
Born in Milton Grove, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Dupler) Kauffman. Sadie was the wife of the late Warren Henry Dupler who passed away in 1975.
Sadie was employed at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, as a housekeeper until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of Milton Grove United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the quartet. Sadie loved reading the Bible. She enjoyed crocheting, flower and vegetable gardening, going to the family cabin in Lycoming County, and most of all spending time with her family.
Sadie is survived by three children: Donna Hess, wife of Henry, of Elizabethtown; Deborah Shuey, of Mount Joy; and Jae Dupler, husband of Debra (Brown) Dupler, of Manheim; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; six sisters; and four brothers.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
A memorial service honoring Sadie’s life was held at Milton Grove United Methodist Church, Mount Joy on May 11. Interment will be private at Milton Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Milton Grove United Methodist Church, 2026 Cloverleaf Road, Mount Joy, PA 17552.
