Robert W. Bejgrowicz, 79, Micro Precision worker, Lititz Welcome Center volunteer, competitive bowler

Robert W. Bejgrowicz, 79, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on Aug. 3, 2018.

He was the husband of Dawn E. Muehleisen Bejgrowicz, with whom he would have shared 58 years of marriage this coming Sept. 3. Born in Stamford, Conn., he was the son of the late William S. and Sophie F. Lewicki Bejgrowicz.

Bob had worked as a tool and die maker for many years at Lancaster Tool & Die. After retirement, he worked for Micro Precision as a purchasing agent.

He was an active member of St. James Catholic Church, where he was a member of the Men’s Club, served as an usher, and assisted with bingo. He was a third degree Knight with the St. James Council 10827 Knights of Columbus.

Bob had volunteered at the Lititz Welcome Center and was an avid and talented bowler, playing in the Wednesday Travel League; the Nut League at Rocky Springs, where he served as treasurer; and bowled in many national tournaments throughout the country. He was also a big Eagles fan.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Robert W. Jr.; and Vicki L., married to James Parente; his two grandchildren: Robert E. Miller and Lindsee K. Miller; and by his siblings: Patricia, married to Greg Kerek; and Ronald, married to Brenda Bejgrowicz.

He was preceded in death by his brother: Raymond Bejgrowicz.

Friends will be received on Thursday, Aug. 9, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, from 6 to 8 p.m., with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:45 p.m. Friends may call again on Friday, Aug. 10, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave, Lititz, with the mass to follow at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Longeneckers Cemetery.
