Robert P. ‘Rob’ Myers, 56, medical assistant at Lancaster Regional, collected Matchbox cars

Robert P. “Rob” Myers, 56, of Lititz, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Snyder Memorial Health Care Center, Marienville, following a lengthy illness.

Born in Cumberland County, he was the son of the late Robert D. and Mary Monforte Myers. He was the loving husband of Gina Shenberger Myers, and they would have observed their 30th wedding anniversary in September.

Rob worked as a medical assistant for Lancaster Regional Medical Center; previously, he was an auto mechanic for various auto dealerships in Lancaster County. Rob was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lititz where he sang in the choir in his early years. He enjoyed collecting Matchbox cars and going to antique car shows. Rob also was a Phillies and Eagles fan.

Surviving in addition to his wife Gina, is a son: Ethan Myers of Lititz, a brother: John Myers of China; and a sister: Rebecca Myers of Corbin, Ky.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 W. Orange St., Lititz, on Thursday, March 19, at 10:30 a.m. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Penn Township.
