Robert M. Graybill, 77, MCHS grad, Vietnam vet, Warner-Lambert retiree, aviation enthusiast

Robert M. “Bob” Graybill, 77, of East Petersburg, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Robert B. and Mary Knittle Graybill. He was the loving husband of Loretta M. Eshleman Graybill, and they would have celebrated 52 years of marriage in October.

Bob retired after 43 years at the former Warner-Lambert, Lititz. He graduated from Manheim Central High School in 1956 and proudly served in the United Sates Army during the Vietnam War. An aviation enthusiast, Bob was a member of the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum, Bern Township, Berks County, and enjoyed building plastic model airplanes.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a son: Troy M. Graybill of East Petersburg; a niece and nephew.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Jane Shenk.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Friday, May 13, at 11 a.m. There will be a public viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Graybill’s Brethren Cemetery, Elm.
