Rhea M. Rhinehart, 100, a resident of United Zion Retirement Community in Lititz, and formerly of Akron and Ephrata, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014.

Her husband, the late Paul G. Rhinehart, passed away Oct. 22, 1979. Rhea was born in Reading, daughter of the late Reuben Z. and Mabel A. (Weiss) Undercuffler. She had lived in the Akron and Ephrata area since 1956.

Rhea was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Akron and worked as a cashier at the former J. J. Newberry store in Ephrata for 30 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of Green Valley Country Club and Auxiliary in Sinking Spring.

Rhea is survived by a daughter: Doris L. Mohn of Akron; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by seven siblings; and one great-grandson: Brandon Ocker.

Services were held Nov. 29 at Paul L. Gravenor Home for Funerals, Ephrata. She was buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata.
