Ralph O. Lutz, 94, WWII vet, worked for Binkley & Ober, enjoyed visiting his family cabin

Ralph O. Lutz, 94, of Manheim, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018 at Pleasant View Retirement Community.

Born in Manheim, he was the son of the late Lemon and Helen (Ober) Lutz. Ralph was the husband of the late Pauline (Risser) Lutz, who passed away in 1995.

Ralph proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from Binkley & Ober stone quarry after 40 years of service in sales. Ralph was a member of Saint Mark’s United Methodist Church in Mount Joy, and enjoyed spending time with his family at their cabin in Snyder County.

Ralph is survived by a son: R. Richard Lutz of Denver; two grandsons: Todd and Matthew Lutz; two great-grandchildren: Cain and Hannah Lutz; and a brother: Donald Lutz, husband of Janice.

A funeral service honoring Ralph’s life will be held at Sheetz Funeral Home, 16 E. Main St., Mount Joy, on Friday, Jan. 19, at noon. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Mark’s United Methodist Church, 37 E. Main St., Mount Joy, PA 17552.
