Paul A. Lane, 57, of Manheim, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at his residence.

He was born in Ephrata to the late Daniel W. Lane and Mary (Nies) Lane.

Paul was a graduate of Manheim Central High School, Class of 1976, where he played the French horn in the band. He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a business degree in 1981. He worked for Pennsylvania Precision Cast Parts in Lebanon until his retirement. Paul was a faithful member of Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim, and the Seekers Sunday School class; was an avid Penn State, Eagles, and Phillies sports fan; liked to feed the birds and squirrels; and very much enjoyed family vacations at Holden Beach, N.C.

In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by two sisters: Rose, wife of Robert Brayman, of Manheim; Jennifer, wife of Dennis Warfel, of Holtwood; two brothers: Daniel, husband of Charlene (Skomra) Lane, of Lorton, Va.; Thomas, husband of Martha (Bare) Lane, of Kennett Square; three nephews; and seven nieces.

Services were held Feb. 13 at Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim, with the Rev. Marcia Lincoln-Heinz officiating. Interment was private at the convenience of the family.
