Nicholas Bubernak, 41, great conversationalist, enjoyed skiing, golf, soccer, and cooking

Nicholas Bubernak, 41, of Lititz, died suddenly Sunday, June 7, 2015 at his residence.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Carole Harvan-Griffith of Manheim Township and Russell Bubernak of Lancaster.

Nicholas was a member of Annunciation Orthodox Church, Lancaster. A great conversationalist with a warm and outgoing personality, he enjoyed golf, skiing, soccer, and cooking.

In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by his brother: David Bubernak, and his wife Vanessa (Peifer), of Lancaster; two nieces: Tatiana and Natasha Bubernak of Lancaster; a step-brother: Christopher Meck of Lancaster; a step-sister: Lee Anne Colello, and her husband Chris, of Westbrook, Maine; his stepmother: Marian H. (Fryer) Bubernak of Lancaster; godfather: Dr. Nicholas Bybel, and his family of Reading; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather: Ronald L. Griffith; his grandparents: Pauline and Michael Harvan and Max and Anna Bubernak; and his godmother: Irene K. Lupco.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 12, at Annunciation Orthodox Church, 64 Hershey Ave., Lancaster, with Father Hector Firoglanis officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
