Michael Paul Diehm, 55, guitarist/songwriter, animal lover, had a generous heart and loving spirit

Michael Paul Diehm, 55, of Manheim Township, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Nov. 15, 1960, in Lancaster to Paul R. Diehm, Georgia, and Duane L. (Rosenberg) Diehm, Lititz.

Michael had a love for dogs and was a member of the Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association. Besides rescuing dogs, he loved to bicycle, fly fish, play guitar, and was a talented song writer. He is best remembered for his generous heart and loving spirit to all those who knew him.

Surviving are his parents; wife: Tammy; sons: Christopher and Brian; sister: Charlotte; and brother: David.

Mike’s family extends an invitation to share in an informal celebration of life at The Mill, 813 Rothsville Road, on Sunday, July 10, from 1 to 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association, at acdra.org.
