Michael ‘Max’ Snyder, 50, attended Manheim BIC, bought and sold vintage products

Michael “Max” Snyder, 50, of Manheim, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Rest Haven of York, with his twin brother by his side.

Mike was born in Lancaster, the son of William and Lillian Snyder of Akron.

He graduated from Manheim Central in 1985. He attended Manheim Brethren in Christ Church where they showed him Jesus Christ’s love, mercy, grace, and compassion. Mike worked in security services for several places in the York and Lancaster areas. The past several years, he worked the local flea and farmers markets buying and selling vintage products. He had a passion for old vintage items.

He is survived by his brothers: Dann Snyder, husband of Snow, of Red Oak, Iowa; Jeff, of Mount Wolf; and Brian Snyder, husband of Tina, of Manheim; several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; and his lifelong friend: Jason Koch. Mike was a very kind and compassionate person. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

His memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, at 11 a.m., at Manheim Brethren in Christ Church, 54 N. Penryn Road, Manheim. Interment will be in Millport Cemetery in Leola.
