Marian R. Snavely Nolt, 77, wife of pastor of White Oak Mennonite Church, mother of five

Marian R. Snavely Nolt, 77, of Manheim, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, unexpectedly at the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center.

She was the faithful wife of Donald E. Nolt, and she passed away on their 59th wedding anniversary. Born Nov. 5, 1939 in Elizabeth Township; she was the daughter of the late J. Warren and Marie Eshleman Snavely.

Marian was a member of the White Oak Mennonite Church, Manheim, where her husband served as minister and bishop for many years.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are five children: Caroline, wife of Andrew Rudolph, of Bluford, Ill.; Ronald, husband of Denise Nolt, of Fortuna, Mo.; Joyce, at home; Kevin, husband of Doris Kauffman Nolt, of Manheim; Philip, husband of Darlene Weaver Nolt, of Manheim; 25 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Joanne, wife of Eugene Kreiser, of Manheim; Linda, wife of the late Donald Keener, of Elizabethtown; and a brother: Herbert Snavely of Lititz.

Preceding her in death are two grandsons: Linford and LaRay Nolt; and an infant sister.

Services were held March 7 at White Oak Mennonite Church, Manheim. Interment was in White Oak Mennonite Cemetery.
