Margaret A. Reinfried, 91, worked at Thaddeus Stevens, avid sports fan, loved her family

Margaret A. Reinfried, 91, formerly of Willow Street, died Friday morning, July 17, 2015, at Brethren Village, where she had resided the past 11 years.

Born in Shamokin, she was the daughter of the late Willliam and Maude Updegrade Parry; and was the wife of the late Charles F. Reinfried.

Margaret retired in 1986 from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology after 11 years of service. Following retirement, she was employed Darrenkamps Market, Willow Street. She was an active member of Lampeter Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid sports fan. Her priority in life was her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son: Thomas F., husband of Kay Reinfried, Lititz; five grandchildren: Ben, husband of Tiffany Heil; Katie Heil; Sarah, wife of Todd Wieseman; Lauren, wife of David Mack; and Emily Reinfried. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren: Zachary and Hailee Heil; and Theo Wieseman.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter: Sharon Heil; her brothers: Donald and William Parry; and sister: Shirley Sipe.

Services were held July 21 at The Chapel of Brethren Village, with Chaplin J. Mark Tedford officiating. Private interment will be held at Conestoga Memorial Park.
