Madeline Marie Golias, 92, homemaker, active at LEFC, avid crafter, passionate about gardening

Madeline Marie Golias, 92, of Ephrata, died peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 at the Landis Homes Retirement Community, Lititz.

Born in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Louis and Marie Vollman Pinterich. A homemaker, she was the loving wife of the late Paul J. Golias who died in August of 2012. Madeline was an active and faithful member of Lancaster Evangelical Free Church, Lititz. Her interests included: crafts of all types, counted cross stitch, and jigsaw puzzles. She had a deep passion for gardening for herbs, vegetable and flowers.

Surviving are two daughters: Cynthia, wife of Jon Balson of Brownstown; Judy, wife of Dwayne Muller of Somerset, N.J.; a son: David, husband of Julie Golias of Mounds View, Minn., seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death is a brother: Carl Pinterich.

Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
