Luke N. Good, 86, Lime Rock Mennonite Church minister, ran Green Acres Dairy Market

Luke N. Good, 86, of Lititz, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015, at Fairmount Homes Retirement Community.

He was born in Ephrata to the late Edward and Frances (Nolt) Good and was the husband of Martha M. (Hoover) Good, with whom he shared 66 years of marriage.

Luke was a member of Lime Rock Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference, Lititz, where he served as a bishop and minister for many years. He worked as a self-employed farmer and operated Green Acres Dairy Market. In later years, he did electric motor repairs.

In addition to his wife, Luke is survived by six children: Raymond H., husband of Dorothy E. (Seibel) Good, of Lititz; Arlene H., wife of Irvin N. Zimmerman, of Savannah, N.Y.; Ervin H., husband of the late Erla S. (Reiff) Good, of Lititz; Lois H., wife of Raymond S. Hurst, of Denver; Lorraine H., wife of Wilmer S. Reiff, of Annville; Kathryn H., wife of Harlan W. Hoover, of Oley; 25 grandchildren; 100 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Mark, husband of Louella (Sauder) Good, of Lititz; Mose, husband of Lizzie (Nolt) Good, of Landisville; Jonas, husband of Grace (Neff) Good, of Elizabethtown; and a sister: Katie, wife of Henry Garman, of Stevens.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six brothers: Lloyd, Allen, Ivan, Willis, Jacob, and Edward; and a sister: Anna Martin.

Services were held June 2 at Lime Rock Mennonite Church, Lititz, with Bishop Melvin Martin and Ministers Henry Horning, Lamar Hurst, Ray Martin, and Eric Hoover officiating. Interment was in the adjoining church cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
