Lowell Eugene Weaver, 84, dairy farmer, Dart Container driver, enjoyed camping, woodworking

Lowell Eugene Weaver, 84, of Lititz, died on Sunday, April 22, 2018.

Born in Buhl, Idaho, he was the son of the late William McKinley and Lena Adaline Kauffman Weaver, and the husband of the late Rachel Margaret Brackbill Weaver.

He was a dairy farmer in the 1950s and 60s and later was a truck driver for 23 years for Dart Container, retiring in 1999. Lowell attended Faith E.C. Church. He loved going to the mountains in Potter County and was a member of the Do Nothing Club at Smoketown Village Restaurant. He also enjoyed woodworking, bowling, and camping.

He is survived by two sons: Brian Lowell Weaver, husband of Debra, Mountville; and Roger Neal Weaver, Ephrata; three daughters: Lucinda Fay Hellinger, wife of Thomas; Judy Kay Weaver; and Rebecca Louise Zuber, wife of David, all of Lancaster; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter: Trudy Gay Weaver; a son: Melvin Leroy Weaver; five sisters: Marie Weaver, Geraldine Rust, Shirley Marble, Elaine Rosenberger, and Margaret Randolph; and two brothers: Alton and William Weaver.

Services were held April 26 at The Groffs Family Funeral & Cremation Services, Lancaster. Interment will be in Old Hill Cemetery Association, Port Royal.
