Lisa (Heft) Pardus, 51, attended Lititz Trinity, clerk at public defender’s office, enjoyed dog agility

Loved by all who knew her well, Lisa (Heft) Pardus, 51, of Lititz, passed away Feb. 18, 2019 after a brief illness.

She was the daughter of Bonnie Heft of Leesburg, Fla., and David Hileman of Tyrone.

She was a 1985 graduate of Garden Spot High School, where she played trumpet in the band, and was active in FFA and 4-H.

Lisa graduated from HACC as a paralegal, and from St. Leo’s University with a degree in criminal justice. She worked as a clerk in the public defender’s office in Lancaster. She attended Lititz Trinity Church. An animal lover, she enjoyed running her dog, Hershey, through agility obstacle courses.

In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by her sister: Michelle Beserock of Leesburg, Fla.; and two brothers: Daniel Hileman of Quarryville and Edward Heft of Gordonville; and her beloved dogs: Hershey, Schoene, and Freckles.

A memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 30, at 11 a.m. at Lititz Trinity Church, 44 W. Orange St., Lititz. She will be interred in Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.

The world will be a darker place without her sunny smile.
