Linda L. Stone61, Warwick grad, retired nurse

Linda L. Stone, 61, of Duncannon, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at Community General Osteopathic Hospital.

She was born Sept. 16, 1950 in Harrisburg and was a graduate of Warwick High School and the Polyclinic School of Nursing.

Linda retired from Kinkora Pythian Home as a registered nurse and in her retirement assisted Roger Williams with auctions. She was a member of the Duncannon EMS, was a collector of wind chimes and enjoyed attending auctions.

Surviving are her husband: William C. Stone; two sons: William L., husband of Nicole Stone, of Fort Mitchell, Ala.; Robert L. Stone, of Enola; her father: Leon W. Spangler, of Leola; two brothers: Steven Spangler, of Leola; David Spangler, of Ephrata; and two grandsons: Nicholas R. and Dylan S. Stone.

She was preceded in death by her mother: Sheva (Boyd) Spangler and a brother: Leon A. Spangler.

Funeral services were held March 6 in the Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home.
