Karen Geyer, 64, worked at Manheim Twin Kiss, enjoyed time with her grandchildren

Karen Geyer, 64, of Lancaster, formerly of Lititz, passed away in Boston, Mass., May 26, 2015.

Born in Ashland, she was the daughter of Romaine Hornberger of Lititz and the late Albert Hornberger; and was the partner of John Judge, Lancaster.

A 1969 graduate of Elizabethtown High School, she worked for many years at the Manheim Twin Kiss and was a lifetime member of the Manheim VFW Post 5956 Ladies Auxiliary.

Never one to sit still, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with the people she met at bingo. She especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and when she found time, she liked to embroider or crochet.

Karen will be greatly missed by her mother, Romaine Hornberger, Lititz; son: Michael Geyer, Philadelphia; daughter: Nicole Geyer-Boyd, wife of Elijah Boyd, Ephrata; brothers: Kirk Hornberger, Manheim; Kevin Hornberger, Crystal Lake, Ill.; sister: Kay Weit, fiancée of Douglas Lehn, Lititz; three grandchildren; and her partner, John Judge.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her sister: Kim Hornberger.

A memorial service for Karen will be held at a later date.
