John Frederick Weber, 58, CFO at Lehigh Valley Respiratory Services, good listener

John Frederick Weber, 58, of Lititz, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017.

Born in Ephrata, he was the oldest son of John and Arlene Weber of Ephrata.

John graduated from Lancaster Mennonite High School and Eastern Mennonite College, and had been employed for many years as the chief financial officer at Lehigh Valley Respiratory Services. He loved his job and the people he worked with. John had traveled the world and enjoyed hiking, rafting and in his earlier years, spelunking. John loved his family with all his heart. He had a great sense of humor, was a good listener and had a warm, friendly smile; he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

John is also survived by his four siblings: Janice Weber-Brown (Larry) of Lancaster; Joyce Bomberger (Richard) of Lititz; Jeffrey (Stephanie) of Ephrata; and Jalisa Weber Gingrich (Bruce) of Lititz. He was the beloved uncle to: Heather and Brock Moshier, Brandon and Joshua Tutt, Amanda and Kyle Gingrich, Christian, Caroline and John Colin Weber. He was also loved by numerous extended family members.

A visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 8, from 3 to 4 p.m., at Lancaster Evangelical Free Church, 419 Pierson Road, Lititz. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m., with Pastor Tony Hunt officiating. Friends may also greet the family following the memorial service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
