John Christian Huber, 98, WWII vet, electrical engineer at RCA , attended Lititz Moravian

John Christian Huber, 98, of Riverview, Mich., passed away Dec. 22, 2014.

Born in Lititz, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mary Katherine Haisch Huber. He is preceded in death by his wife, Abbie March Huber.

A World War II veteran, John was a member of the U.S. Army. He was a Penn State graduate and an electrical engineer at RCA for 24 years.

John was a member of the Lititz Moravian Congregation and Amity Lodge 166 IOOF in Burlington, N.J.

He was the loving father of two sons: Ronald, husband of Shirley, Mich.; and Gary, husband of Kathy, Minn; dear brother of: the late Winefred Huber, Herbert Huber, Katharine Spaar, Theodore Huber, and Jan Ura; proud grandfather of 10; and great-grandfather of seven.

Family and friends are invited to the Lititz Moravian Church, 8 Church Square, Lititz, Dec. 31, for a viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by the funeral service with Reverend Mark Breland officiating at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the Lititz Moravian Cemetery.
