Janice J. Rubin, 68, worked at Doneckers and Sperry New Holland, cherished her family

Janice J. Rubin, 68, Lititz, formerly of Leola, died May 15, 2016, in Lancaster General Hospital of complications following a 10-year battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Born in West Reading, a daughter of the late Norman L. and Ethel A. (Adams) Zimmerman, she was married 41 years to Richard S. Rubin.

Jan graduated in 1965 from Garden Spot High School and had worked at The Village Inn, Bird-in-Hand; Sperry New Holland, and Doneckers. She attended Christian Fellowship Church, New Holland, and cherished her family.

Also surviving is her son: Chad A., married to Tiffany N. (Stoltzfus) Rubin, Magnolia, Del.; a grandson: Harrison David Rubin; and sister: Josephine M., married to Philip Stone, Landisville.

A brother, Jonathan Zimmerman, predeceased her.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, at 10 a.m., from West Bethany Chapel at Landis Homes, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, with Pastor Robert J. Stahl officiating. Burial will follow in Eby Cemetery, Upper Leacock Township. The viewing will be from West Bethany Chapel on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m., and just before the service Monday.
