Jacqueline A. Cheney, 83, worked for Donnelly, RCA, enjoyed bingo, time with family

Jacqueline A. Cheney, 83, of Manheim, formerly of Lancaster, passed away Thursday evening, April 30, 2015, at the Pleasant View Retirement Community while under the care of Hospice & Community Care.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Ira E. and Margarite Peters and the loving wife of the late Kerwin Reed Cheney, who passed away Feb. 1, 1997.
Jacqueline was a graduate of Manheim Township High School, where she had been head majorette. She had worked for Donnelly Printing in the bindery assembly line and then with RCA as a tube tester. She enjoyed being a homemaker, spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and playing bingo.
Jacqueline will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Steven R. (Patricia A.) Cheney of Lancaster; Michael J. Cheney of Belfast, Maine; and Jeffrey L. (Kathy Jo) Cheney of Mount Joy; her nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and her sister: Betty Carl of Reading.
She was preceded in death by her other sister: Joyce Yellets.
Services were held May 6 at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery, with Pastor Mark Thiboldeaux officiating.
