Ivan Carl Habecker, WWII vet, salesman at C.Y. Tanger and Son, antique collector

Ivan Carl Habecker, of Lititz, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Brereton Manor, Washington Boro.

Born in the family home in Lititz, he was the son of the late John S. and Daisy M. (Miller) Habecker.

Carl was a salesman for C.Y. Tanger and Son for more than 45 years, 38 of those full time. He was a member of Lititz United Methodist Church. Mr. Habecker served his country in the Merchant Marines during World War II and the United States Army during the Korean War. He loved to fish, hunt, read, and collect antiques.

Surviving is his brother: John Habecker; two nephews: Floyd and Tom; and two nieces: Christine and Deborah.

He was preceded in death by his three brothers: Robert, Charles, and Floyd.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
