Isabel Mae Bare, 89, loving family matriarch, animal lover, enjoyed flower arranging

Isabel Mae Bare, 89, of Manheim, passed away on Sept. 14, 2018.

She was born in Huntingdon to the late William and Anna Barrick.

Isabel was a lover of all animals and was known to many as Mother Goose for her feeding the geese near her home. She enjoyed making flower arrangements and giving gifts to family and friends. Isabel was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who adored her family.

Isabel leaves behind her children: Sherri L., wife of James Barto of Manheim; Terry G. Bare of Kingsland, Ga.; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Ellsworth Bare in 1990; and her daughter-in-law: Kristen Bare.

Services were held Sept. 19 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Columbia. She was interred at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia.
