Irene S. Rohrer, 98, White Oak COB member, enjoyed handcrafts, time spent with family

Irene S. Rohrer, 98, formerly of Lititz, entered her Heavenly home on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim.

Born in Rapho Township, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma Snavely Haldeman. She was the wife of the late Levi F. Rohrer, who died in 2011.

Irene was a member of White Oak Church of the Brethren, Manheim. Her interests included reading, puzzles, gardening, handcrafts, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are four children: Ronald H., husband of Christine Gibble Rohrer; Larry H., husband of Linda Kover Rohrer; Judith H., wife of John G. Myer; and Dennis H., husband of Brenda Brubaker Rohrer, all of Manheim; 11 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Oliver and Elmer Haldeman; and two sisters: Elizabeth Faus and Stella Shelly.

Services were held Nov. 8 at White Oak Church of the Brethren, Manheim. Interment was in the adjoining church cemetery.
