Henry V. ‘Hen’ Kleinfelter Jr., 77, owned A&H Excavating/Paving, avid drag racing fan, classic car enthusiast

Henry V. “Hen” Kleinfelter Jr., 77, of New Holland, and formerly of Lititz, passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving children on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

Hen was born Aug. 7, 1938, in Lebanon, to the late Henry Kleinfelter and Vernetta Moyer Kleinfelter.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Anna.

He is survived by daughters: Susan Engleman and husband James of Ephrata; Cindy Reiff and husband Les of New Holland; Karen Weidman and husband Mike of Reinholds, Lisa Lewis and husband Shad of Denver; son: Dwayne of Ephrata; and 10 ten grandchildren.

He was a long-haul tractor-trailer driver for 18 years for Jones Motor, was owner/operator of A&H Excavating/Paving, and later operated heavy equipment for Brubacher Excavating. An avid drag racing fan, amateur driver and classic car enthusiast, he loved spending his retirement days in his garage working on his collection of cars and trucks.

A private family life celebration is planned for a later date.
