George J. Kamm, 80, of Lancaster, formerly of Lititz, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at Hospice & Community Care, from renal failure.

Born Aug. 9, 1934 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late George J., Sr. and Gertrude V. (Wenzel) Kamm. He was the husband of Joyce E. (Neff) Kamm, with whom he was married 17 years last April.

He owned and operated the former George Kamm Paperweights and The Glasstique. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was a former member of St. James, Lititz, and St. Anthony of Padua, Lancaster. George was a 1952 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High and proud U.S. Army Veteran.

Also surviving are three children: Andrew S.; Carla A., married to Mark Curry; and Lia P. married to John Mort; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first two wives: Pauline (Nolt) and Irene (Fritsch); a grandson: Nigel Kamm; and two siblings: James R. Kamm and Rosemarie B. Miller.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lancaster, on Aug. 19. Interment was in the St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman.
