Forshts married 50 years

Al and Sally (Quay) Forsht, of Lititz, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this year. They were wed on June 22, 1968 at Hill Lutheran Church, Cleona, by Rev. Robert Harnish.

Al retired from Case New Holland after working there for 38 years. He graduated from Penn State University. He’s currently active with many aspects of life at Moravian Manor, especially the model train group.

Sally retired from Rothsville Family Practice after 19 years and is active at Moravian Manor.

They attend Lititz United Methodist Church.

Al and Sally have two daughters: Gretchen Seyfried (Mark) of Painesville, Ohio; and Gayle Watson (Brian) of Maytown. They have six granddaughters: Ainsley and Ashlyn Seyfried; and Madison, Corrine, Sophia, and Ella Watson.

The Forshts celebrated the milestone Memorial Day weekend during a gathering at Moravian Manor with family and friends.
