Fae M. Allen, 99, Brethren Village and LGH volunteer, enjoyed sewing, world travel

Fae M. Allen, 99, of Lititz, passed away on Aug. 23, 2018 at Brethren Village Retirement Community.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ellen (Erb) Musser. Fae was the loving wife to the late F. Paul Gates.

Fae did a lot of volunteer work throughout her life. She volunteered at Brethren Village, the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Md., and at Lancaster General Hospital where she enjoyed working with children. She enjoyed sewing, and traveling all over the world.

Fae is survived by a nephew: Rodney Musser, husband of Lucy, of Lititz.

She is preceded in death by a brother: Burton Musser; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be private. Fae will be laid to rest beside her husband, F. Paul Gates, at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
