Elizabeth R. Smith, 75, worked at Warner Lambert, Lititz Legion member, animal lover

Elizabeth R. Smith, 75, of Manheim, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at Lancaster General Hospital.

She was born in Rutherfordton, N.C. to the late Andrew C. and Mary (Sisk) Pope and was the wife of William L. Smith with whom she shared 25 years of marriage.

Elizabeth worked on the assembly line at Warner Lambert. She was an animal lover, enjoyed gardening, shopping, aquariums and was a member of the Lititz Legion and the Reamstown Athletic Club. She was loved by many.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons: David N., husband of Terri Lorah of Manheim; Anthony S., husband of Linda Lorah of New Holland; Jeffrey L., husband of Roxanne Martin of Lititz; Kevin W., husband of Joanne Smith of Md.; a daughter-in-law: Donna Lorah of Stevens; a daughter: Robin Smith of Manheim; 22 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren; a brother: Coy, husband of Nell Pope of N.C.; and a sister: Nita, wife of Dave Stormfeltz of Manheim.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons: Ricky Lorah and Timothy Smith.

Services were held Dec. 8 at Stradling Funeral Home, Ephrata, with Pastor Leslie Cool officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Zion Evangelical Cemetery.
