Elizabeth D. Myers, 94, was secretary at Lancaster Guidance Center, enjoyed needlework

Elizabeth D. “Libby” Myers, 94, formerly of Lancaster, passed away at Luther Acres Dec. 2, 2014.

Born in Steelton, she was the daughter of the late Alpheus and Lillie Stone Drayer. She was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Myers (2004).

A 1938 graduate of Steelton High School, Libby was a secretary at the Lancaster Guidance Center. Libby was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church in Lancaster. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and needle working.

She is survived by her son: Dr. Larry Myers, husband of Paula, Prospect, Ky.; a daughter: Lynn Elizabeth Myers, New York, N.Y.; a grandson: Eric Myers-Tayne, Ft. Myers, Fla.; granddaughter: Karyn Larson, Montgomery Village, Md.; and a sister-in-law: Nancy Drayer, Harrisburg.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers: Howard and Alpheus Jr.; and sisters: Virginia Brubaker and Elva Brinton.
