Elizabeth A. Marcorelle, 83, homemaker, St. James Catholic parishioner, enjoyed knitting, gardening

Elizabeth A. Marcorelle, 83, of Lititz, passed away peacefully Tuesday March 17, 2015, at Moravian Manor.

Born in Boston, Mass., she was the widow of David L. Marcorelle Sr., who passed away June 14, 1997, and the daughter of the late James and Margaret Legere Seveiri.

Elizabeth was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting, bingo and gardening, and was a member of St. James Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children: Susan E., wife of Richard R. Kroeck, Lititz; and David L. Marcorelle Jr., Lititz; She is also survived by her grandchildren: Dana E. Kroeck, companion of Kevin Leaman, Shillington; Danielle, wife of Jereme Elmer, Lititz; and Claire Miegel, wife of Zachary Miegel, Akron; and one great-grandson: Landon S. Elmer.

She was preceded in death by a brother: James Sevieri; and a sister: Marguerite McDade.

Betty’s family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Moravian Manor for the care and compassion they gave to Elizabeth.

A life celebration service was held March 21 at Spacht Life Celebration Home, Lititz, with The Rev. James O’Blaney, C.Ss.R officiating. Interment took place at Longenecker’s Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Moravian Manor, 300 W. Lemon St., Lititz, PA 17543 in her memory.
