Elaine M. (Horton) Law, 87, beautician, mother of three, enjoyed reading, spending time with her family

Elaine M. (Horton) Law, 87, of Lititz, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016, at Luther Acres.

She was the loving wife of Donald R. Law, who preceded her in death in 2009. Born in Nanty Glo, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Elizabeth (Calhoun) Horton.

Elaine worked as a beautician and was a member of Pequea Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Surviving are three children: Terry A. Law, husband of Jo-Ann (Ward), of Lancaster; Carol L. Gehman, wife of Eugene, of Lancaster; and Andrea D. DeChristopher, wife of Tod, of Castle Rock, Colo.; two siblings: Ruth Hawley of Pittsburgh, and Ron Horton of Ephrata; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Elaine was preceded in death by six brothers: James, Thomas, Vernon, Chester, Harold, and Richard Horton; and five sisters: Josephine Imler, Rita Grubb, Marie Detweiler, Florence Davis, and Faye Horton.

Services were held May 3 at the chapel at Luther Acres, Lititz, with Steve Detweiler officiating. Interment will be held privately by the family.
