Dorothy O. Wiggins, 87, worked at Wiggins Asphalt-Paving, enjoyed camping, playing bingo

Dorothy O. “Dot” Wiggins, 87, of Mount Joy, and formerly of Manheim, passed away at home on Monday, Sept. 18, 2017.

Born in Damascus, Va., she was the daughter of the late A.G. and Rose Lee Thomas Pruiett. She was the wife of the late Harry G. Wiggins, who died in 2014.

Dot worked as a secretary at Wiggins Asphalt-Paving Inc., Manheim. She was a member of Mount Joy Church of God. Her interests included traveling, camping, and playing bingo.

Surviving are five children: Sandra, wife of Gene Hinkle; Sue, wife of Charles Morrison; William Mike Hodson; Sharon, wife of Rick Wood; Shelly Moyer, companion of Douglas Lunceford; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Mount Joy Church of God, 30 E. Main St., Mount Joy, on Friday, Sept. 22, at 2 p.m. Friends may visit with the family from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow in Manheim Fairview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Dot’s memory to Mount Joy Church of God, Building Fund, 30 E. Main St., Mount Joy, PA 17552.
