Dorothy G. Klopp, 87, UZRC worker, enjoyed gardening, traveling, and volunteering

Dorothy G. Klopp, 87, of Lititz passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018, at Moravian Manor.

She was born in Stevens to the late Eli W. and Minnie (Getz) Martin, and was the wife of Marvin K. Klopp, who died in 2005.

Dorothy was a member of Cocalico Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, volunteering with the elderly, and traveling. She worked as an assistant physical therapist for 12 years at United Zion Home in Lititz, and had worked at the former Nichol’s of Ephrata.

Dorothy is survived by three children: James L., husband of Linda Klopp of Lititz; Donald L., husband of Heidi Klopp of Lititz; and Clair R., husband of Pamela Klopp of Ephrata; six grandchildren; two step-granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three children: Curtis L., Kenneth K., and Esther F. Klopp; and five siblings: Arlene G. Harting, Minerva G. Eberly, Ralph G., Alfred G., and Carl G. Martin.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on June 20 at Hahnstown United Zion Church, corner of Glenwood Drive and Frysville Road, Ephrata, with Pastor Ken Leininger officiating. Interment will be held at the Hahnstown United Zion Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy’s name to Cocalico Church of the Brethren, 225 S. Cocalico Road, Denver, PA 17517.
