Doris L. Hunsberger, 83, worked at Osteopathic Hospital, enjoyed camping, word searches

Doris L. Penn Hunsberger, 83, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, March 7, at Conestoga View, where she had been a guest for several years.

Born in Lancaster, and a lifelong area resident, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Pearl C. Danner Worrell, and was the wife of the late Charles Penn Jr., who passed away in 1970.

Doris had retired from the Community Hospital of Lancaster, formerly Osteopathic, where she worked in the housekeeping department with more than 20 years of service. She enjoyed working on word search puzzles, baking, loved her pets and camping. Mostly, Doris enjoyed having time with her family.

Doris will be lovingly remembered by her children; Sherry Cupp of Lititz; Glenda Pluck; Jenny Myers; Charles B., husband of Lisa Anderson, Lititz; Richard Anderson; Carl Anderson; Robyn, wife of George Fitting; and Charles F. Penn lll; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and her brother: Marlin, husband of Beverly Worrell.

A Life Celebration Memorial Gathering is being planned by the family to be held at a later date. Fred F. Groff Inc., Lancaster, handled the arrangements.
